We are both natives of the High Country and our family has been in the area since before the Civil War. Robert R. Barr

Bob has over 30 years of real estate experience in the High Country. Bob is a REALTOR® and member of the Avery/Watauga Multiple Listing Service. Originally from Ashe County, Bob graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1972. Bob first experience in real estate was in building homes in the 1970's. After that he owned numerous apartments in Ashe, Watauga, and Anson counties. He began developing land in Watauga county in 1989.

Daniel J. Barr

Dan joined the family business in 2005. Dan was born in Ashe County, but has lived in Dallas, TX for the past 10 years. After graduating from Southern Methodist University, Dan worked for a real estate consulting firm that specializes in retail site selection, economic development, and commercial developer advisory services. Like Bob, Dan is a REALTOR® and member of the Avery/Watauga Multiple Listing Service.
